NT- Two Thorn Fields Farm Retaining Wall

We were tasked with a collapsing barn adjacent to a farm track, every increasing tractor and trailer size as well as corn wagon deliveries had caused a section of underground barn wall supporting the farm track to collapse. In order to rebuild the barn wall we had to move the farm track over which was into a banking so we had to build a new retaining wall and move the track!
First job was to prop the barn walls with shoring then move the farm road, the farm sits 1100ft up and half a mile up a steep rough track from the road below, so logistics were challenging.
Next we moved onto fixing the barn wall, we excavated alongside the barn wall and removed the loose stone fill, we placed 25m3 of concrete in a mass wall then rebuilt the wall supporting the road. Cleaned up the remaining stone in teh barn, laid new mot stone on the road and had a tidy up. We had a name stone carved and placed it in the wall, this wasnt original but we thought it was a nice touch,
