NT - Edale - Upper Booth campsite erosion control gravel grids

Heavy traffic from a starting on a slope and water flow was eroding the surface of this drive combined with poor stone choice, (clean 20mm with no binder) on a popular national trust campsite

As an emergency quick fix we installed gcl gravel grids, a company we have enjoyed a long history of utilising their products on successful projects . Covering these with 40mm down mot they’ve held up and prevented rutting and washout.
