We were appointed to undertake this repair so there’s rooms could reopen after defects were found in the original bridge.
As per the engineers drawing we secured 15mm x 150x150 angle section onto the existing wall with m20
Resin bolts. We then placed 2.5m 150x250mm concrete lintels on these to form the bridge supports. Tricky job manoeuvring and placing 7x 140kg lintels with no machine access.
We then had to repoint the stonework in a heritage lime mortar.
